About Me
About Me
Hi, I’m Sharon — the heart and hands behind Artistry Loft. Sewing has been a part of my life for more than 40 years, and it continues to bring me joy, creativity, and freedom every single day.
My journey started at the High School of Fashion Industries and continued through the Fashion Institute of Technology (F.I.T.) in New York City, where I studied both design and marketing. Over the years, I’ve worked in the NYC Garment District as a trim buyer and even at Ralph Lauren, where I learned that every stitch and detail matters.
Now, I bring that same love for sewing into my community through private mobile sewing lessons. Whether you’re threading a needle for the very first time or looking to complete your first project, my goal is to make sewing simple, fun, and confidence-building.
I believe sewing is more than a skill — it’s a way to express yourself, create something lasting with your hands, and discover just how capable you really are. My favorite moments are watching students light up when they finish a project they never thought they could make.
At Artistry Loft, I come to you — so you can learn in the comfort of your own home. Together, we’ll create pillows, tote bags, zippered pouches, and more, all while building a skill you’ll carry for a lifetime.
✨ Sewing is freedom. Sewing is expression. Sewing is joy. ✨
And I can’t wait to share it with you.
